A Complete Book in 30 Days!
Another day. Another sniffly, sniffly day! The review phase is now completed, all random typos / words I invented and horrible repetitions I can’t explain resolved. I’ve handed over to a typesetter now for some advice, and finished work on the cover. The 50K NaNoWriMo target has been hit comfortably, even allowing for modest loss during the rewrite and edit phases. Writing a complete book in 30 days has been a challenge for sure, now only two days to go!
As you may recall from Part 1, the twenty-eighth day of the challenge for book writing month is the third and final day of rewriting. The book has almost been completed, and a whopping 95 words added. I will never understand how to rewrite and then edit, so both simultaneously it is… and on that basis, I’m pretty much done! Though I’m sure another panic read through beckons. The word count has crept up again to 60,479, and that is today done! I am pleased the content still reads well to me, and I hope I’ve got a decent book together. I also now have a completed cover and an interior layout that looks promising.
Day 28 finished, a book written and one complete book checked for sense and structure. Owing to my cold I’m going to call it a night! I’m very excited for you to join me on this journey, so subscribe to be kept up to date.
