A Book Completed in a Month!
Almost there! I am now obsessively checking and re-checking, and re-checking again. I’ve done some more work on the website, approached potential early reviewers and sent more material to the typesetter. One more day of editing of the final 20 pages, and it is as done as it is getting! The 50K NaNoWriMo target has been hit comfortably, preparing me nicely for a repeat performance in a month. We’ve now but a day away from having a book completed in a month!
As you may recall from Part 1, the twenty-ninth and penultimate day of the challenge for book writing month is the first day of editing. In my case, it is more like the fourth day of review / rewrite and edit. The book has almost been completed, and finally the review process has yielded a reduction in word count… but only by 62! The word count is now 60,417 and with only one day and 20 pages left to review I can’t see it moving much from there.
Day 29 finished, a book written and one complete book checked for sense and structure, save the final 20 pages! I’m very excited for you to join me on this journey, so subscribe to be kept up to date.
